About Paul Van den Bulck

Paul Van den Bulck is a partner and lawyer at AKD. He supports clients in legal issues relating to information technology (IT), data protection, intellectual property (IP) and media & entertainment. His advice covers all transactional aspects of IT or IP projects. He also helps clients across the world to resolve disputes and conduct legal proceedings.

Paul's clients come from a wide range of different sectors, such as healthcare, technology, and sports & entertainment. His advice extends to both day-to-day matters and strategic issues. Paul's data protection practice focuses on all areas of national and international data protection and security, including general compliance (such as processing for HR purposes, CRM strategy and direct marketing), information security and cybercrime, international data transfer, intra-group agreements, the processing of cloud contracts and advice on policy and procedures. Paul also regularly acts as a mediator and arbitrator in disputes about information technology and intellectual property (i.e. for the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), CMAP, b.Mediation and CEPANI), to name but a few.
