About Anouk Hofman

Anouk Hofman is a lawyer at AKD. She specialises in general administrative (procedural) law, government sector private law, (European) subsidy law and municipal law. She therefore works frequently for government bodies such as local authorities, provincial governments, water boards and cooperation bodies. Clients appreciate her practical approach which is based on thorough knowledge. She likes to engage and actively share ideas with her clients. As a result they can count on well thought out and effective advice and procedures.

Anouk has a particular interest in issues at the interface between public and private law and matters relating to the Roads Act [Wegenwet] and contracting with government bodies. She teaches and publishes regularly on these issues, for example in the ‘AB’ and the ‘Gemeentestem’. Read more Anouk graduated with distinction from the University of Utrecht with a master's degree in constitutional and administrative law, majoring in environmental planning law. Her thesis focused on the convergence of public and private law in civil cases and was awarded many prizes.
