About Alexandra Ella Boyle
Alex is a senior associate in the Finance & Structuring practice of the Luxembourg office of AKD.
She specialises in alternative investment funds and advises clients on all legal and regulatory aspects of the structuring, formation, marketing and ongoing operations of unregulated funds across a range of strategies, with a particular focus on private equity and real estate, as well as experience in debt and infrastructure.
Alex has extensive experience advising fund sponsors and institutional investors on Luxembourg fund structures throughout the full lifecycle of investment funds. Her work includes fund structuring and formation, investor negotiations, governance and compliance matters, co-investments and investor structuring considerations. She regularly provides strategic, structuring and regulatory guidance in relation to unregulated vehicles.
Prior to joining AKD, Alex held a senior in-house legal role within the asset management division of a global financial institution, where she was responsible for legal coverage of hedge funds and alternative investment strategies at group level. She subsequently practised as a supervising associate at a leading Luxembourg law firm.
