​AKD has assisted CWS Fire Safety GmbH, a CWS Group company, with the acquisition of Hefas Branddetectie BV from GV Safety Holding BV. Specialising in preventive fire protection, CWS Fire Safety GmbH aims at gaining a foothold on the Dutch fire safety market through CWS Safety Nederland BV.

Hefas Brandbeveiliging is a CCV-certified fire detection company having its roots in the Fire Alarm (Service and Maintenance) group of Solar Elektro BV and, previously, as the service department of Brinkman & Germeraad BV. Hefas Branddetectie BV is a DEKRA-certified company, fully compliant with the BMI and OAI regulations of the CCV for designing, supplying, installing and maintaining fire alarm and evacuation alarm systems.

Headed by Nathalie van Woerkom, AKD's team consisted of Valéry Schaap, Rutger van Thiel, Mariëlle van Winden, Jorn de Bruin, Sjoerd Waagmeester and Anton Akimov.
