The Luxembourg corporate team of AKD, alongside Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and Orr, Dignam & Co, has advised Eni on selling its shareholding in its entities in Pakistan to Prime International Oil & Gas Company, a newly established company formed by Eni’s local employees team in Pakistan and Hub Power Company, the largest independent Pakistani power producer.

This agreement aligns to Eni's wider strategy of reshaping and simplifying the company's portfolio, extracting additional value from its strategic assets and disposing non-core businesses as per its Strategic Plan 2021-2014.

The Luxembourg team was led by partner Cédric Bless and BCLP’s team was led by partners John Conlin and Rod Chooramun.
