Would you like to know if litigating at the NCC is appropriate, do not hesitate to contact Sebastiaan Moolenaar or Reinier Cobussen.

Since 1 January, it is possible to resolve international business disputes at The Netherlands Commercial Court. The NCC is specialized in hearing complex international commercial cases.  Both proceedings and judgments will be in English.

The NCC District Court and the NCC Court of Appeal will use Dutch procedure, which is recognized for being efficient, pragmatic and cost-effective. The judges and legal staff are drawn from a nationwide pool of experienced specialists. The NCC is based at the Amsterdam Palace of Justice and not only makes an attractive forum for Dutch claimants and defendants, but also for litigation in which claimants, defendants and/or assets are not located in the Netherlands. Opting for the NCC using a choice-of-court clause may also be appropriate in contractual relations.
