About Jaap van de Rakt

Jaap van de Rakt is a partner and lawyer at AKD who is involved in (international) litigation practice, with a particular focus on international private law.

In addition to litigating for the court and the court of appeal Jaap also has experience with conducting arbitration proceedings before a variety of institutes, such as the International Criminal Court (ICC), the Netherlands Arbitration Institute [Nederlands Arbitrage Instituut] (NAI) and the UNUM Transport Arbitration & Mediation foundation.
