About Simon van Steenbergen
Simon van Steenbergen holds an 'of counsel' position at AKD. He specialises in corporate law. For more than 25 years he has advised and represented clients in the field of (international) commercial contracts and (international) trade transactions. He also has wide-ranging experience in managing organisations.
In addition to his work for AKD Simon used to be a substitute judge at the court in ’s-Hertogenbosch. He was also a university head lecturer at Nyenrode Business University and a lecturer at the Amsterdam Nyenrode Law School, the Royal Netherlands Institute of Chartered Accountants [Nederlands Instituut van Registeraccountants] (NIVRA) and Fenedex, the Federation of Dutch Exporters. Simon publishes in various legal journals and is co-author of a number of legal publications in the field of corporate law. He also regularly gives lectures.
