AKD strengthens M&A-practice with Lennart Crain

AKD appoints Lennart Crain to join its fast growing M&A practice. Crain joins AKD on 1 January 2017.

Crain arrives from De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek where he mainly specialized in M&A work for financial institutions, the tech industry and private equity.

Recently Crain was involved in:

  • NXP's merger with US-headquartered Freescale Semiconductor at a combined enterprise value of USD 40 billion, and the related remedy-sale of NXP's RF Power business to Chinese private equity investor JAC Capital for USD 1.8 billion;
  • The EC-mandated auction sale of Reaal/Vivat to China's Anbang;
  • Private equity transactions in various industries, including the auction sales of AXENT Verzekeringen and Nationale Borg.
