Floris van Westrhenen

Floris van Westrhenen is a lawyer and partner at AKD who specialises in rental law, project development and construction disputes. Floris advises companies and public bodies on the setting up of sale-and-lease-back arrangements and on how to conclude negotiations on rental contracts. He also has a great deal of experience in advising and litigating on complex disputes relating to sales and contractors, integrated construction contracts and construction work damage.

In the area of project development his focus is on the development and redevelopment of industrial estates, inner city areas and outlying locations and he regularly draws up partnership and development agreements associated with these kinds of projects. He also represents both government bodies and private parties and advises local authorities on how to set up legal structures for park management.
